PAANI was founded by a group of passionate professionals who returned to Nepal after completing their higher education in Germany. Inspired by global sustainability practices and driven by a deep sense of responsibility to their homeland, they shared a common dream to create a more sustainable, equitable, and inclusive future for Nepal’s rural communities.
Upon returning, they witnessed firsthand the growing challenges facing the country: climate change, degrading natural resources, limited access to healthcare, widespread youth unemployment, and the persistent marginalization of women. They realized that meaningful change would only come through community-led development that respects both people and the planet.
