Within its first year of operation in 2022, PAANI successfully secured funding from the Government of Nepal to implement the project “Reduction of Violence and Discrimination Against Marginalized Women and the Enhancement of Their Economic and Social Capacities” in Chandragiri Municipality, Kathmandu district.
PAANI Organization has successfully organized a Bakery Training Program for the youth of Chandragiri Municipality with the aim of developing practical skills and creating income-generating opportunities. The training provided hands-on knowledge in baking techniques, food hygiene, and small business basics, empowering participants to turn their skills into sustainable livelihoods. By enhancing employable skills and encouraging self-employment, PAANI Organization continues its commitment to supporting youth empowerment and economic independence within the community.
In 2023, PAANI co-hosted a workshop in collaboration with Rural Women Development Center (RWDC) and Collective Attempts for Social Transformation (CAST) to promote the Human Papilloma virus (HPV) vaccination in order to eliminate Cervical cancer by 2030 in Nepal.
From 2024-2025, we completed the project “Integration of Local Farm Production with School Feeding Program” at Kalidhunga Higher Secondary School, Baiteshwor Rural Municipality, Ward-3, Dolkha district, Nepal. This project was carried out in collaboration with the German NGO Weltweit – Gesellschaft zur Förderung lokaler Initiativen e.V., and is funded by the Rapunzel One World Organic Foundation, Germany.
